We love to welcome vistors to First United Methodist Church and as a visitor you probably have questions about our ministry and what you should expect when you join us for worship. This page is dedicated to answering some of those questions and to let you know about our church history and Statement of Faith.  Take some time and read through the information, and if you have additional questions or concerns, email us, call the church office at 724-327-5049, or simply stop in and ask.  We would love the opportunity to get to know you better!

What time are worship experiences?

Where are we located?

What do I wear?

We invite you to be comfortable when you come to worship with us.  If you feel most comfortable in shorts and t-shirt, that's great.  If you like to wear a coat and tie, that's fine, too.

What opportunities are there for my kids?

The nursery is available for children from birth to five years old, it is also available to be used as a cry room.  If you need to calm a fussy baby, go to the nursery where you will find a live feed of the service.

Children ages 3-years -5th grade begin with their families in the 10 am service. After the Children's Message, they head downstairs to Wesley Hall with their teachers for Sunday School.  For more details about the Children's Ministry click here.

Youth in 6th-12th grade, are invited to attend services in the Sanctuary with their family. Youth Group is held every Wednesday, for more details see the Youth link here.

Where do I park?  

There are three parking lots situated around First United Methodist Church; above the church, behind the church, and below the church around The Annex. You are welcome to park in any of these locations. 

A handicapped entrance is located at the lower door of the church, near The Annex.  If you have a mobility concern, park in The Annex lot and use the Administrative Office door.  Once inside, you will find an elevator that will take you directly into the Sanctuary.
